Pyroban offer a complete certified solution for diesel and electric vehicles required to work within Zone 21 and Zone 22 potentially explosive atmospheres.
Pyroban offer the Dust-tec system for electric vehicles, and the Dustmech system for diesel powered vehicles.
Equipment is modified using various protection methods including IP enclosures, controlling surface temperatures and elimination of any mechanically generated ignition sources.
All conversions take place at Pyroban factories or Pyroban licenced installers.
We need to know the following:
Dust solutions for all types of equipment Zone 21 or Zone 22 | Which areas will the truck be working in?
Conductive or Combustible? or both... | What are the characteristics of the powder or dust? For example, flour, cocoa, coffee, milk, corn - starch, polymers, telcum powder, custard, sugar, paper fibres etc. are all combustible. Carbon black, aluminium and other metals are conductive.
Ignition temperature? Cloud (C) and Layer (L) | There are two ignition temperatures, layer ignition (on a surface) and cloud (in the air). Componenets should not exceed the layer ignition temperature. For example Cocoa C300°C L200°C, Flour C490°C L340°C Lead C460°C L240°C.
